This is what sailors experienced: This sheltered bay boasts a deep central basin, ideal for anchoring. While sand dominates closer to shore, starting at depths of 8-5 meters, the deeper sections are carpeted with lush Posidonia meadows.

This is what sailors experienced: This bay is a true gem! We enjoyed a comfortable anchor with long lines to the shore, right next to the soothing hot springs. Soaking in the warm waters, especially at night, was pure bliss. The sandy seabed offers excellent holding, and the crystal-clear water teems with fish, making for incredible snorkeling adventures.

Kolona Bay

This is what sailors experienced: This bay is a beauty, offering easy anchoring (keep an eye out for sandy patches) and excellent protection. While it can get busy, the spaciousness allows for plenty of room. We weathered 30-knot winds here with no problems, a testament to its secure nature.

Paralia Apokrousi

This is what sailors experienced: This spot provided a tranquil night’s sleep. We anchored in 6.5 meters of sand with a fantastic view. It was a peaceful and beautiful spot.

Episkopi Beach

This is what sailors experienced: This calm bay offered a peaceful one-night stay at the end of June. We found excellent holding in about 7 meters of water on the north side of the bay. It was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the serenity.

Flampouria Beach

This is what sailors experienced: This is an incredible spot! The water is crystal clear and anchoring is a breeze. We enjoyed a peaceful walk through the charming town and captured some amazing photos. In May, we were the only sailboat, enjoying a quiet night under the stars. You can feel a slight wave when the ferry comes in, but it’s all quiet by 11 pm.
