This is what sailors experienced: Tucked away between the chapels and cemetery, this little cove provides a peaceful spot for a lunch break. While the water clarity isn’t the best, the cove offers decent protection in calm conditions. You’ll find 4.5 meters of water and a sandy bottom, perfect for anchoring with 20 meters of chain.

This bay holds potential for beauty, but it’s currently lacking in welcoming vibes. The entire bay is dominated by fishing boats, and the shallows are littered with concrete blocks, chains, and old anchors, making it a less-than-ideal spot for swimming.

This is what sailors experienced: A truly wonderful bay! The north-easterly winds were no match for the protection this bay offered, leaving us feeling secluded and safe. Mobile phone reception was surprisingly good. We anchored at 8 meters in the middle of the bay, finding a secure hold in the sandy bottom. The water clarity was fantastic, making it easy to see the seabed. However, it’s important to note that the deep water continues for quite a distance.

This is what sailors experienced: This charming, isolated bay is ideal for a single boat, but be prepared for some challenges. While we were able to tie up with lines to shore, we found that our anchor wouldn’t hold, despite the seemingly sandy bottom. The bay offers protection from the open sea but is exposed to the meltemi winds.
