We dropped anchor stern-to the cliffs, enjoying excellent holding and crystal-clear water. It was incredibly calm and peaceful. Highly recommend the Exsantas restaurant on the beach – delicious seafood and the friendly owner is a local.

This anchorage is a gem – close enough to the city to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. We found excellent sandy bottom in 3 to 5 meters of water, and there was no noise from the road. The nearly vertical cliff along the coastline provides excellent protection from the wind, making it an ideal spot to spend the night before heading to the city anchorage or the harbour the next day.

This beautiful bay is definitely worth a stop. It’s stunning, but be aware that the bottom is mostly grass, with just a few sandy patches to drop your anchor. Take a walk around the old olive press and up to the church – the views of the surrounding bays are breathtaking. We had a fantastic sunset and a peaceful night. It’s a truly special place.

This tiny island, is a real gem! We anchored in the small, indented bay on the north side in 6-7 meters of water. It was a perfect lunchtime stop, with very calm weather. There’s a fantastic little beach ashore, and we had total privacy. Just be aware that the small dock is used by ferries and water taxis , so keep a good distance.
