This is what sailors experienced:
This bay is a true gem, offering excellent holding in sand, both just beyond the small island at 7m or behind it at 3m. We chose the sheltered western side behind the island and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of swell, only experiencing occasional movement when larger vessels passed by. Despite the beautiful surroundings, the island itself was marred by a significant amount of washed-up trash. While we spent time cleaning up what we could, it was disheartening to see such a beautiful spot burdened by pollution.
This is what sailors experienced:
This harbour is charmingly small, but don’t let its size fool you.
Shallow waters abound, so be cautious. Larger boats with deep drafts may struggle to find a suitable mooring spot, making the end of the quay next to the harbour entrance the ideal choice.
This is what sailors experienced:
The ample space allows for comfortable anchoring in 15m of water, and the long shoreline offers plenty of options for those who want to extend their stay. Although bustling, it’s a great spot for a midday meal before continuing your voyage.
