This anchorage is a true gem, offering excellent protection. Don’t be fooled by Navionics’ depth readings – the north sill actually sits at a respectable 6.7m in the middle. Be mindful of the abundant Posidonia seagrass, choosing your spot carefully to avoid damage. For ultimate peace of mind, aim for the center of the anchorage. The wind tends to be fickle here, so you’ll want as much room to swing as possible.

The charts are a bit stingy with details on the depth in front of the rock, so it’s best to approach with caution. We found a comfortable spot on sand at the top of the bay, in 4m, and secured with a line ashore. This spot is only recommended for settled weather, as it can be exposed to shifting winds. Despite the potential for a bit of wind, this anchorage is a tranquil haven, with an abundance of fascinating wildlife to observe.
