Livadi Marina

This is what sailors experienced: We med-moored against the outer wall, finding good holding in the mud/clay bottom. This spot offered excellent protection from all directions. Plus, there was convenient water and electricity available at the dock, making it a comfortable and convenient stay.

Livadi Beach

This is what sailors experienced: This is a great practical anchorage, making it easy to get to both the town and Chora. We anchored east of the beach in 13 meters, and despite 30 knots of wind from the northeast, the holding was excellent. Just be sure to drop your anchor in a sandy patch – it took us two tries to find the right spot. There are plenty of places to leave your dinghy near the marina, making getting ashore a breeze.

Serifiotiko Beach

This is what sailors experienced: This sheltered anchorage in Agios Georgios provides excellent protection from the Meltemi wind, especially from the north-northeast. While space is limited for only 1-2 boats, the rocky bottom offers good holding. Be aware of seaweed on the seabed. This is a fantastic spot for snorkeling and swimming thanks to its calm waters and beautiful surroundings

Serifios SE Bay

This is what sailors experienced: This bay offers a peaceful retreat for sailors seeking calm waters, especially when the North wind is blowing. While offering no shelter from the wind itself, the sandy bottom makes for easy anchoring once you find a suitable spot. Enjoy the quiet surroundings, surrounded by nature and a large lagoon at the head of the bay.

Lia Beach

This is what sailors experienced: This anchorage offers a tranquil escape in calm weather, with sandy spots perfect for anchoring near the small beach on the right side. Enjoy the peaceful ambiance and sheltered waters, ideal for smaller vessels.

Northern Anchorage to Lia Beach

This is what sailors experienced: This beautiful bay provides a peaceful alternative to its neighboring anchorage. While open to the elements, it offers breathtaking scenery when the weather cooperates. Anchoring is possible, but be sure to find the sandy patches amidst the rocks for secure holding.

Paralia Agios Sostis

This is what sailors experienced: This magical bay offers a secure overnight stay for boats, thanks to its well-protected location. We found excellent holding with both anchor and two mooring lines connected to the swimming platform on the north side of the bay. This spot is safe even with up to 20 knots of NW wind.

Psili Ammos

This is what sailors experienced: This gorgeous bay is a must-visit, with its crystal-clear turquoise waters, stunning sandy beach, and one of the best tavernas offering delicious homemade Greek cuisine. While a slight roll may be present with no wind, the breathtaking beauty and incredible food make it well worth the visit.

Paralia Agios Ioannis

This is what sailors experienced: This sheltered north bay provides a good overnight anchorage with a 10-15 knot SE wind. You’ll find little swell and a sandy bottom with posidonia. Secure anchoring can be found in 6 meters of water, around 100 meters from the beach.

Centarhos Beach

This is what sailors experienced: This anchorage is a gem, offering peaceful solitude and stunning scenery. We enjoyed a quiet night anchored in 5 meters of sand, with plenty of room for 5-6 boats. The crystal-clear waters make for wonderful swimming, and the tranquility makes it a perfect escape.

A word to the wise: Don’t be surprised if you spot Poseidon himself enjoying a coffee at the harbour café!
