While the depths here are generally less than 6 meters, be cautious as the bottom can be rocky. Finding a good sandy patch for anchoring may require some searching. It’s worth the effort, though, as the bay’s shelter makes for a peaceful stay.

Anthony Quinn Bay

This is what sailors experienced: This bay, whispered to be favored by the nymphs, hides a treasure: a sandy heart amidst a ring of rocks. While the sides are peppered with jagged stones, a gentle slope of sand awaits in the center, perfect for dropping anchor. We found a firm hold at 10 meters, with 40 meters of chain and a line secured to the rocky north shore. Swimmers revel in the waters here, their laughter echoing across the bay, perhaps a chorus sung to the nymphs themselves.

Ladiko Bay

The middle boasts a light sandy bottom, perfect for anchoring in 5-6m, but be mindful of the lurking dangers near the shore. A cluster of boulders lies just off the beach, posing a serious risk of snagging your anchor. Stay clear of these rocky hazards and enjoy the peaceful charm of this hidden gem.

Paralia Tsampika

We found a comfortable spot in 5m, enjoying the scenic beauty of the surroundings. The clear waters and gentle slopes make it ideal for a refreshing dip, while the picturesque landscape adds to the charm of this delightful anchorage.

Stegna Beach

This is what sailors experienced: This cove boasts an excellent sandy bottom, providing secure anchorage in depths ranging from 4-6m. Exercise caution near the shore, as rocky outcrops can pose a hazard.
