This small harbour is a good option for a short stopover, especially during this time of year(May). Although officially off-limits to boaters, I was able to stay a few days after a friendly discussion with a local policeman. He understood my need to stay until Sunday morning, my planned departure. The other pier, however, is quite challenging due to the significant swell.

This is what sailors experienced: This is a great alternative to Kiato or Corinthos, especially if you’re looking for a spot before or after crossing the canal. The entrance is very pleasant with winds coming from the East or Southeast. Just be aware, though, that there are some mice and rats about!
