This anchorage boasts exceptional holding at a depth of 9m, requiring a generous 40m of chain for optimal security. While generally calm, be aware of occasional, unpredictable wind gusts that may sweep through the valley.

Chomi Beach

This anchorage offers a sandy bottom at a depth of 10m, but caution is advised due to the presence of rocks, which may be visible in good weather. This anchorage is recommended only for brief stops in calm weather conditions.

Giali Beach

We found good holding in 6m of water with 30m of chain. While the clean sandy bottom provided excellent anchoring, be mindful of the numerous buoys positioned towards the shore and maintain a safe distance.

Monastery of Theotokos Dikaia

Anchorage
This anchorage presents a significant challenge and is only recommended for experienced sailors with favorable weather conditions. Approach is possible only from the south. The clear waters reveal stunning beauty, with large boulders nestled amidst white sand. However, proceed with caution as the bottom changes depth rapidly, and a rock flush with the water lies in the center of the anchorage.

This expansive sandy area, located in front of the path leading to the beach, offers depths ranging from 4-6m. While the sandy bottom makes for a pleasant anchoring spot, be aware that rocky outcroppings extend several hundred meters offshore, creating shallower water depths of 6-8m.

This wide-open bay offers a convenient spot to drop anchor in the sand at a depth of 5m. While exposed to all weather quadrants, it’s a fantastic location for a refreshing swim after a leisurely lunch.

The marina offers a wide range of amenities, including showers, laundry facilities, restaurants, a bar, and a swimming pool.
