Ornos (reliable shelter), south bays like Agios Ioannis/Platis Gialos/Paraga (fair-weather), busy Psarou/Super Paradise/Elia, exposed north bays (Panormos/Ftelia), and superb shelter/day-stops on nearby Rineia.
Fly to JMK or take ferries from Piraeus/Rafina and nearby Cyclades. Yachts use Tourlos (New Port) for services, Ornos and south bays in northerlies, and Rineia when visiting Delos.
Strong Meltemi (N–NE). Ornos holds well; north coast gets heavy seas. Delos is protected—no private anchoring; use Rineia coves. Sand with weed patches; fuel/water/power by arrangement at Tourlos. Watch ferry wash, swimmers, and reefs.
Mykonos Town for nightlife, Ornos or Platis Gialos for beach access, Agios Ioannis for sunsets. Book early July–August and confirm transfers.
Taxis are limited—prebook or use buses. Avoid seagrass when anchoring. Respect Delos/Rineia rules and monastery dress codes; drones restricted near sites and airport.
