With northerly and northeasterly winds howling up to 35 knots, we sought refuge after finding the Monemvasia marina fully exposed to the elements. This bay proved to be a savior, offering complete protection from the swell.
Despite strong wind gusts reaching 30 knots, we dropped 50 meters of chain on a sandy bottom at a depth of 5m. The anchor held firm, providing a secure haven for a couple of nights.
