Marina Poros

This is what sailors experienced: Poros is a delightful little town that charmed me with its unbelievably good weather. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine and soak up the Greek atmosphere. The supermarket right near the pontoon was super convenient, and I was spoilt for choice with the abundance of excellent restaurants. I highly recommend Poros for a relaxing and delicious getaway.

This is what sailors experienced: This bay was a real gem! The water was crystal clear, and we anchored in a comfortable 7 meters of depth with perfect visibility. It was easy to row ashore and once there, I was blown away by the fantastic hiking trails and incredible restaurants. Definitely a must-visit for anyone exploring the area!

Paralia Limanaki

This is what sailors experienced: This bay was a real gem! The water was crystal clear, and we anchored in a comfortable 7 meters of depth with perfect visibility. It was easy to row ashore, though I was a little disappointed to find the beach itself was quite muddy. It’s a good spot for a quick visit, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a long stay. The beach bar offered some sunbeds, but I can imagine it getting very crowded during peak season.

This bay was a real winner! We felt perfectly sheltered from the wind, and dropping anchor in 4m right between the mainland and the little island with the church was perfect. The island and its rocky outcroppings did an amazing job of breaking the waves from ferries and larger boats, making it super peaceful. There’s a decent beach with a cute little café where we enjoyed a relaxing ouzo and a beer. Highly recommend it!

Dhaskalio Bay

This bay was absolutely fantastic! The two land forts just 15m from shore added a touch of history and mystery. We anchored in 3.3m of depth with a generous 45m of chain on 8m. The swimming was great, and the night was incredibly peaceful, with a beautiful moonrise over Poros.

Frisian Bay

This is what sailors experienced: This small, cozy bay was the perfect place to unwind! It was ideal for a quiet evening with a little campfire and a short walk to explore the surrounding area. We felt completely safe and relaxed, with no signs of danger around.

Gerolimani Beach

This is what sailors experienced: This spot was a pleasant surprise! I actually preferred it to the main port, and it was a perfect place for a quick swim and pitstop. Definitely worth checking out!
